APAP team leader publishes article on Afghan civil society

Dr. Sarah Kathleen Rose of the Afghanistan Parliamentary Assistance Program (APAP) recently published a piece in the Parliamentary Network of the World Bank’s (PNoWB) May 2011 issue of the Network Review. The article, titled “Civil Society Emerges as Important Focus of Parliament in Afghanistan,” explores the growing consensus that CSOs can play a constructive role in Parliament’s policy-making and oversight processes. Dr. Rose is the institutional development team leader for APAP.
