Afghanistan Assembly launches a legislative tracking system
The National Assembly of Afghanistan recently launched an online legislative tracking system. The website, developed with USAID support through the Afghanistan Parliamentary Assistance Program is developed in three languages: Pashto, Dari and English and tracks the status of individual bills from the time they are introduced to Parliament. The Afghanistan Parliament Legislative Tracking Service offers a range of services for members and staff of the National Assembly and citizens providing them with accurate and timely information about the stages through which the bills have gone through in the legislative process and capturing amendments introduced. In addition, it also lists the committees introducing the amendments and when these amendments were made.
