Inclusive Growth and Collective Action: SUNY/CID named as a partner in the DFID-Funded Governance in Action Program in Kyrgyzstan
SUNY/CID is partnering with the Palladium Group to implement The Support to the Parliament/Governance in Action (GiA) program, funded by the United Kingdom’s Department for International Development (DFID). The project will use politically smart and adaptive programming to promote inclusive economic growth in Kyrgyzstan. Palladium’s team will work with the Kyrgyz Parliament, non-state actors, and government ministries to address the collective action challenges that constrain inclusive economic growth. The program will have two components:
- Strengthen parliamentary systems and processes, while fostering policy changes that address key constraints to inclusive growth; and
- Facilitate coalitions of non-state actors, and state bodies at local and national levels to participate in the policy process and/or inputs to service delivery.
SUNY/CID will provide technical assistance in the design of the parliamentary component during the inception phase and provide key technical support during the implementation of this four-year program.
